Ontario Omnipod Detailed Information
- On the 80th day after Shipment 1 – Shipment 2 will be sent (3 boxes of pods).
- 90 days after Shipment 1 has been sent, the balance owing for Shipment 1 will be processed.
- 100 days after Shipment 2 has been sent, the balance owing for Shipment 2 will be processed.
- 90 days after Shipment 2 has been sent, Shipment 3 will be sent (3 boxes of pods).
- 100 days after Shipment 3 has been sent, the balance owing for Shipment 3 will be processed.
The above cycle repeats: Every 90 days, the next shipment of 3 months worth of supplies (3 boxes of pods) is sent out and the payment will be processed 100 days after the shipment was sent out.
NOTE: There will always be a $1740 balance on the account for a time period of 10 days, until the payment is processed for the previous shipment. See the chart below for the scheduled billing and shipments on Pump Now Pay Later.

The Pump Now Pay LaterTM program was created by Diabetes ExpressTM in 2005 to help ease the financial burden that families and those living with Type 1 Diabetes endure while waiting for reimbursement. Building on the success of the program, Diabetes Express TM has now developed an “Omnipod Edition” specifically for Omnipod users. This cost-effective financial program provides a stress-free way to receive pods and to pay within 90 days while waiting for reimbursement. (Payment for orders is not dependent on reimbursement status).
Who can apply?

How does the Pump Now Pay LaterTM Omnipod Edition Program - work?
Once approved, Diabetes ExpressTM will contact you to set up your subscription ($1 is authorized to your credit card and three boxes of pods (equivalent of 90 days supply) will be sent to you. The $1 authorization should automatically disappear from your statement within 5 - 10 business days. It depends on your bank. If it does not release within the time stated above please contact your bank directly and request it. Diabetes Express cannot release authorizations.
You will also be sent an invoice to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. On the 80th day after Shipment 1 and then every 90 days thereafter a new shipment of 3 boxes of pods will be sent to you. On the 90th day after Shipment 1, the balance of $870 for Shipment 1 (3 boxes) of pods will be automatically billed to your credit card. Thereafter every 90 days your credit card will be billed $870 for the prior shipment of pods. You can expect four auto shipment per year and 4 charges to your credit card per year.
What is a subscription?
A subscription is an auto shipment that is set up for your convenience. It consists of four auto shipments per year. Diabetes ExpressTM will facilitate this to help you manage your supplies orders.
Can I add or remove items to my subscription of Pods?
Yes! We can customize your subscription to include all your other supplies including insulin, test strips, accessories and more. Just ask. To make such a request, a minimum of 5 business days advance notice is required before the scheduled auto-shipment date.
Do I need to call or order online to get my subscription sent?
No! Subscriptions will be automatically shipped and billed every 90th calendar day with the exception of the second shipment. See chart above
Will I receive a tracking number?
Yes, a tracking number will be automatically emailed to the email address on file once the order ships.
Do you automatically bill my Credit Card for my subscription?
Yes! The Credit Card that was used at the time of signing up for the Pump Now Pay LaterTM Omnipod Edition Program will be automatically billed on the scheduled payment due date.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept the following methods of payment: Visa, VisaDebit, MasterCard, MasterCard Debit and American Express. Pre-paid credit cards are not accepted.
Will I be notified of charges/billing done to my Credit Card?
Diabetes ExpressTM will not provide notification when billing your credit card on the payment due date.
Is there a fee for the PNPL Program?
There is no fee. This program was created by Diabetes ExpressTM to ease the financial burden.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Kindly contact us a minimum of 5 business days before your next scheduled shipment date to let us know if you would like to cancel your subscription. Please note: All outstanding balances must be paid in full at the time of cancellation.
What will happen if my Credit Card declines?
We will automatically attempt to process payment every day for 3 days on the Credit Card. We will contact you by phone and email to advise if the payment declines.
If my payment has declined, will my next order be shipped out?
No! Failure to pay will result in removal from the Pump Now Pay LaterTM Omnipod Edition Program due to unsuccessful contact.
Your account with Diabetes ExpressTM at the time of the application will need to be in good standing and also be cleared of any outstanding balances prior to acceptance.
How do I sign up?

By paying the $1.00 authorization you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
I hereby agree by subscribing to the Pump Now Pay Later Program - Omnipod Edition to pay Diabetes ExpressTM, operated by Bayshore Specialty Rx Ltd., in full, and without delay for my delivered supplies sent by Diabetes ExpressTM on the 90th calendar day after the Shipment 1 and every 90 days thereafter until I cancel my subscription and pay my outstanding balance in full. I authorize Diabetes ExpressTM, to charge my balance using the payment method I provided at the time of enrollment to the program for Shipment 1 and for every automatic shipment thereafter. For clarity, I further agree for Diabetes ExpressTM to automatically bill my credit card for the full amount owing on the account via the credit card provided on the 90th calendar day after Shipment 1 has been shipped and every 90 days thereafter until I cancel my subscription and pay my outstanding balance in full. I understand and accept no other notifications prior to or after the automatic billing will be provided by Diabetes ExpressTM. I understand and accept if I should request another order before the 90th calendar day; the order will be required to be paid in full prior to shipping. I also understand that any orders placed in between the auto-shipments will not halt, change or amend the subscription quantity of products or the amount due. To cancel the subscription, contact Diabetes ExpressTM, a minimum of 5 (five) business days prior to the next shipment. The account balance will be due in full the day of cancellation.
I also agree and understand that Diabetes ExpressTM, operated by Bayshore Specialty Rx Ltd., does not accept prepaid credit cards and I confirm that the one provided does not fall within that category.
Request for change of charge card
I hereby agree to notify and provide my new payment information at least 5 days before my next payment is due.
I hereby agree to immediately contact Diabetes ExpressTM, in the case my card has been lost, stolen, compromised or replaced and provide my new payment method to Diabetes ExpressTM, before the due date in order to continue on the Pump now Pay Later Program
Failure to pay
If the auto-billing of the credit card declines Diabetes ExpressTM will notify you to update the credit card information and make immediate payment on the outstanding balance. I understand that failure to contact Diabetes ExpressTM may result in my next order not being released and I may not be eligible at any time to rejoin the program. Diabetes ExpressTM will provide one business day grace period for the account to be cleared by phone during business hours. If payment is not provided within the one business day grace period Diabetes ExpressTM, may and will remove the account from the program and may seek to collect unpaid amounts by any means allowable by law.
